Juve's beleaguered Costa adds injury to heavy ban

Douglas Costa has suffered a double injury that could
sideline him for Juventus' Champions League duty as he is already
banned in the Italian Serie A, the Turin club said Friday.
The Brazilian winger sprained his left ankle and pulled a muscled in
the right thigh during Wednesday's 2-0 win at Valencia in the
continental tournament. He was replaced some 20 minutes after coming
on in the second half.
The club did not say whether he can recover for the home game against
Swiss side Young Boys on October 2.
Costa is to miss the next four Serie A games with a ban handed after
spitting at a Sassuolo opponent last weekend.
Germany midfielder Sami Khedira also faces a layoff after injuring
himself during the Valencia game.
