Manchester United will be the biggest losers if the Premier League season is voided by the coronavirus crisis.

Clubs are set to take massive financial hits should the campaign go uncompleted.

With football suspended for three weeks already, there is no match-day income. And the league is worried that it will have to pay a massive £762m penalty to broadcasters for games missed.

But while that is the entire league, reports in the UK claim to have found details of how much each club stands to lose.

And the Red Devils top that list. With a moerse £116m set to be written off, United may have to rethink some of their transfer targets.

United have been linked to £100m-plus England wing Jadon Sancho and Dutch defender Matthijs de Ligt, who Juventus paid £67.5m for at the beginning of the season.

The Old Trafford giants’ noisy neighbours Manchester City and Premier League leaders Liverpool are also set to miss out on more than £100m.

City are forecast to lose £109.3m and the Reds can brace for a £102.6m stback.
