'Covid-19 making balls sticky'

The coronavirus adjustments has Premier League players complaining about sticky balls as summer returns to the northern hemisphere.

Yes, since team training resumed this week, balls have had to be sprayed with disinfectant before and after sessions as part of hygiene measures.

And according to the Sun, it’s become very tricky for them to control the ball in the hot weather as the disinfectant becomes taai.

The tabloid claims that unhappy players have slammed the initial programmes as “pointless” and “ludicrous”.

Some players have also claimed that sessions are “not fit for purpose” as they look to build up fitness ahead of the

proposed restart plans for June.
