BIG TARGETS: United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer BIG TARGETS: United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is targeting a treble to end the season.

Solskjaer was the hero who sealed the famous 1999 hattrick of the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League titles with his last-second goal in the Nou Camp.

And the boss wants his players to vang that gees now and chase the FA Cup, Europa League and a top-four league finish.

It might seem like a flou target, but it’s alles that United can aim for after a swak start to the term.

But with the Red Devils going 11 games unbeaten before the coronavirus pandemic struck in March, Solskjaer has demanded nothing less than a treble, as action returns this week.

Asked if he sees Champions League qualification as his main goal, he tells the Mirror: “We are not going to discard any one of them or prioritise and if we can finish with the same momentum we had before, we could end up with trophies.

WORKING HARD: Red Devils

“The start will be decisive, it’s almost like a European

Championships or World Cup.

“You live together, you’re close together, you’re in the bubble.

“It’s exciting and I feel very privileged to coach these players. They’ve been great.

"We had great momentum before this break and the pluses are we now have the whole squad fit.”

Solskjaer and his manne will have to find some form before their first match back - a trip to Tottenham and a shot at former boss Jose Mourinho - after losing to Championship side West Brom 2-1 in a friendly on Friday.
