Manchester United coach Erik ten Hag wants his manne to wys rivals City that they are the knockout kings of England.

With one trophy a-piece this season, United having wrapped up the League Cup and City the league, both teams will be looking to double up in Saturday’s 3pm FA Cup final.

And after helping the Red Devils end a six-year silverware droogte by lifting the League Cup in February, Ten Hag wants his manne to land a killer blow to City’s treble-winning ambitions while at the same time winning both knockout competitions in England.

With coach Pep Guardiola’s team also facing Inter Milan in the Champions League final next week, Ten Hag says: “I’ve seen many FA Cup finals. The tradition... I’m really looking forward to it.

“It’s not about stopping Manchester City, it’s about us winning the FA Cup.

“We want to build our own legacy and era.

The Dutchman’s mindset has rubbed off on Marcus Rashford, who completed a double of his own by walking off with the club’s Player and Players’ Player of the Year awards on Monday night.

With his 30 goals across all competitions after working with Cape legend and forward coach Benni McCarthy, Rashford is honger for more at the weekend.
