SCOTLAND international prop Oli Kebble says he is all in at the Stormers, after returning to the Mother City last year.

The 33-year-old Kebble cut his teeth innie Kaap, playing for the Stormers between 2014 and 2017, before leaving for Glasgow Warriors where he became a Scottish international in 2020.

A Junior Springbok in 2012, Kebble is the son of former Springbok Guy, who played four Tests for the Springboks in 1993 and 1994.

Set to play in his 50 match for the Stormers when they tackle Harlequins in England in the Champions Cup on Sunday, Kebble said at a press conference on Monday: “It’s taken some time to [get to the 50th match], but all good things are worth the wait.

“Any time you get to put the Stormers jersey on is special.”

Of coming back to the Mother City after his stint in Europe, Kebble said: “It’s quite nice, knowing all the coaches and how things work [from my previous stint]...

“The environment is amazing. The way things are run is really professional.”

He added: “My main motivation was that I was excited to join a team like this - to play for Stormers again.

“It was something I wasn’t sure was gonna happen. It’s almost like a dream coming true again. That and being close to the family were my main motivators.

“To represent the Stormers is incredibly special.”

Coach John Dobson’s Stormers are still unbeaten this season in all competitions and are currently at the top of the standings in Pool 3 after two matches.

The pool includes Irish giants Leinster, Harlequins, Franse La Rochelle and Bayonne and English club Leicester Tigers.

The Kapenaars are facing English opposition in back-to-back weekends, with the Tigers coming to town next week.
