REVENGE is a dish best served cold. And the Stormers want to storm their way to getting even with the Sharks in hulle eie agteryard this weekend.

The Kapenaars were well beaten by the Durbanites at a packed Cape Town Stadium at the weekend and while it was only their first defeat of the season, it would have stung utility forward Ben-Jason Dixon and his spanmaats.

They have a chance to set things right – sommer this weekend al – when they face the Sharks in rare back-to-back outings.

Dixon is honger to right the wrongs of last weekend’s 30-19 defeat, saying: “It’s a great opportunity to fix that things we flagged.

“One of the things [we are fixing is the] lineouts and they also scored maul tries – we want to fix those things.

“There are lots of positives to take out of the game too. We were well beaten, but we weren’t too far off.”

Dixon adds that they are feeling the pain as a unit and will set out to fix it as a span, adding: “All the guys - the coaches and players feel the heat. We are in it together, all of us carry the weight of the loss and it does fuel something inside of us... ”

Forwards coach Rito Hlungwani agrees about the lineouts that need to be fixed and said: “We didn’t execute standard as well as we usually do and the Sharks prepped really well.

“But two skew throws close to the tryline and an overthrow has nothing to do with the opponent. Those are things on our side of the court that we want to fix.”
