LONDON will come to a complete halt on Sunday at 6.30pm, when Stamford Bridge hosts Chelsea welcome neighbours Arsenal.

Both sides are on the ultimate high, with Arsenal klapping Bayern Munich 3-1 in the Champions League on Wednesday, while the Blues beat Barcelona 3-0 in their midweek European clash.

As the teams shift their attention to the league, it is Chelsea who are chasing after the Gunners, with coach Mikel Arteta’s team topping the standings with 29 points after 12 games and counterpart Enzo Maresca’s manne in second place on 23 points.

Maresca know that they’ll have to forget about the Barcelona win, explaining: “It’s a big win, especially because it was Barcelona, but nothing’s changed in terms of what team we are and what we can achieve.

“Now we focus on the next one...

“We need to keep the momentum... ”

Brazilian youngster Estevao was the talk of the town after his solo effort against Barca, while Arteta’s span looked at their giftigste against Harry Kane and his Bayern brasse.

Bayern’s 17-year-old midfielder Lennart Karl cancelled out Jurrien Timber’s 22nd-minute opener late in the first half.

But Noni Madueke restored Arsenal’s lead with his first goal for the club in the 69th minute and fellow substitute Gabriel Martinelli took advantage of a huge blunder from goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.

Arteta, though, was straight back to work yesterday, with preparations for Sunday’s groot match.

Arteta said after the match: “It is another massive victory, but that’s it. Now go home, have a nice dinner, and tomorrow morning [on Thursday] we’ll start to prepare for Stamford Bridge.”

Weekend’s Premier League fixtures:

Saturday: Brentford v Burnley, Sunderland v Bournemouth, Man City v Leeds (all 5pm), Everton v Newcastle (7.30pm), Spurs v Fulham (10pm)

Sunday: Palace v Man Utd (2pm), West Ham v Liverpool, Villa v Wolves, Forest v Brighton (all 4.05pm)
