ARSENAL just need a draw against Inter Milan at the San Siro at 10pm on Tuesday to become the first team to book their place in the last 16 of the Champions League
In first place on the 36-team standings with six wins from as many matches, the Gunners are the only unbeaten span in the tournament.
And Tuesday's opposing coach Cristian Chivu says hy’s nie verbaas nie, as he deems coach Mikel Arteta’s team as one of the best in Europe.
Chivu, whose Inter are in sixth place, says: “We’re facing one of the strongest teams in Europe. They’ve invested, they have an identity and they’re constantly improving.
“Arsenal and Bayern are the strongest teams in Europe right now, but I’m also aware of who we are. We won’t start feeling defeated; we will be the best version of ourselves.”
The Gunners are further boosted by the return to fitness of yster Bukayo Saka, who had been managing a minor “niggle”.
Inter have Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram on their books.
Elsewhere, Tottenham welcome Borussia Dortmund, while Manchester City travel to Bodo/Glimt.
