Andrew Plaatjies, the man accused of murdering Rene-Tracy Roman, 13, listened attentively in the Western Cape High Court on Friday to how his pre-trial proceedings would only continue in the new year.
Judge Robert Henney informed Plaatjies that his case would have to be postponed for
further pre-trial to 9 February 2018.
Rene-Tracy disappeared on 10 March when she went to a shop to buy a packet of chips.
A cleaner found the child’s tied-up body hidden under a mat in a hokkie at the back of Plaatjies’ girlfriend’s home in St Agatha Crescent in Montague Village on 21 March.
