They are responsible for making generations of mense fall in love and in just a few short months, you will be able to experience their mojo for yourself.
The Soulful Superstars Tour with Peaches and Herb, joined by Eban Brown, the former lead singer of The Stylistics, will hit our shores in August and tickets are still up for grabs.
We caught up with Eban Brown, 46, this week, who says he is excited to return to South Africa.
This will be his third visit and Eban says: “Going home to the motherland at least once in the life of an African American is a ritual.
“It’s really important and almost compulsory for an African American to visit Africa, it doesn’t matter where in Africa but going to Africa is a ritual it’s like a pilgrimage for us.

“This will be my third time. in 2008 I was there for the Cape Town Jazzathon and in 2017 I was in Johannesburg at the casino.”
Eban was the lead singer of the Grammy-nominated Stylistics for 18 years, having toured and performed all over the world with the group since 2000.
“I left the Stylistics in January 2018 and I never looked back,” he says.
“There were too many internal problems. I felt that I was being held back in my music with them.
“I have grown so much since leaving the Stylistics and I’m doing better than ever.”
On the night of the show, you will get to hear classics such as You Make Me Feel Brand New, Betcha By Golly, Wow and Can’t Give You Anything, along with some fresh soul and pop originals by Eban.
“Fans are going to be treated to all their favourite songs and I’m going to be bringing my best performances because I know it’s already a process for people to get to the show, first you have to buy tickets and then if you’re taking your partner along, you still need to look good for her or him, so it’s a lot,” he says.
Eban, who lives in New Jersey, has been married for 18 years and has two daughters, aged 22 and 30.
“I have two beautiful daughters who haven’t made me a grandad yet; I think they’re being selfish,” he laughs.
Eban is preparing to release an EP and already has seven albums to his name.
