Mense were baffled when one of the longest-serving presenters on Expresso left the popular morning TV show.
Ewan Strydom spent almost nine years on the award-winning breakfast show and told viewers he was going “to pursue other business ventures”.
Ewan, 36, started his journey on Expresso as a model and personal fitness trainer in 2010 and later as a presenter.
Viewers saw an emotional side to Ewan when he bid farewell live on Expresso.
He will be joining Bravo! on KykNet on Sundays at 7.30 pm as a presenter.
His first appearance on Bravo! is on Sunday, 26 May.

“It was incredibly hard to leave Expresso after eight-and-a-half years. I never thought I’d ever shed a tear on Live TV, but hey, it happened. [There were] a lot of tears, it was really like saying goodbye to my family.
“I’m looking forward to presenting in Afrikaans, which is new to me. Even though I’m Afrikaans-speaking, my presenting career has been in
English.”
Ewan told the Daily Voice joining Bravo! was like “ taking a leap of faith”.
“It’s very hard in this industry to decide what is best sometimes, you have to rely on your gut. I am still trying to adapt to my new normal, it’s been tough as the body clock is a hard one to re-wire. Slowly, but surely, I am getting there and absolutely loving the few more hours of sleep.”
