Trevor Noah is giving South Africans lekker international exposure on The Daily Show.
On Wednesday it was the star turn of actress Nomzamo Mbatha.
Since starring in Coming 2 America, Nomzamo, 30, has been making waves in the US, being touted as a breakout star by numerous publications such as Vulture, Harper’s Bazaar and The Hollywood Reporter.
Kicking off the interview, the two Mzansi stars joked about the pronunciation of Nomzamo’s name, which has been butchered in by the US media .
Commenting on what is was like working with superstars such as Eddie Murphy, Wesley Snipes are Arsenio Hall in the film, she told host Trevor: “Honestly, it been an out-of-body experience, but I think you would be able to let me know how to go about this Hollywood thing.

The two South Africans also shared what it’s like getting a work visa for the US, with each of them relating funny anecdotes.
As the interview concluded, Nomzamo said she was looking forward to doing more acting work in the US and focusing on her philanthropic ventures adding that she wants to produce projects too.
