Shocking court documents have revealed that alleged child killer, Moehydien Pangaker, 54, repeatedly raped another young child before murdering eight-year-old Tazne Van Wyk from Ravensmead.
Pangaker appeared in the Goodwood Magistrate’s Court on Monday where the indictment for the murder trial which will be heard at the Western Cape High Court next year.
Pangaker faces a total of 20 charges which include rape, murder, sexual assault, kidnapping and defeating the ends of justice dating back to 2016.
The shocking documents have revealed that during the period between 2016 and 2019 he raped a minor girl four times in Ladismith by penetrating her vagina and forcing his penis in her mouth. Shortly afterwards he took the same child to a dam where he sexually assaulted her and raped her again.
In 2019 he raped the same girl in a council flat in Eureka Estate. He later kidnapped the child and held her captive in a house in Worcester where he tied her up and threatened to kill her if she reported the rapes.
The case was postponed to 29 January for pre-trial hearings while he will be held at Pollsmoor Prison for the duration of the trial.
