The matter in the Cape High Court was yesterday postponed to 7 October for closing arguments.
The final witness to take the stand was Specialist Forensic Pathologist, Dr. Mandy Date Chong, who went into detail about the gunshot wounds sustained by the four deceased.
Lyle Lamohr, 26, and his co- accused Anthony “Humpty” Williams, 28, is accused of killing friends Kelvin Mouton, 30, Ryan Harland, 19, Ryan Petersen, 22, and Chaundre Minnies, 25, in a flat in Angelier Hof, Kestrel Way on 24 April 2015.
Dr Chong says Ryan Petersen had a close-range gunshot wound in the thigh.
She said the gun was fired one centimetre from Ryan’s leg.
Chaundre and the two Ryans were visiting Kelvin, who was an alleged member of the 26s gang.
The shooting’s only eyewitness testified that Kelvin was shot when he went to answer the door and Chaundre was shot twice while she lay sleeping.
Dr Chong says Kelvin was shot in the head.
William’s aunt, Martha Abrahams, testified that Lamohr was buying entjies at her shop when the friends were murdered.
Abrahams claims as the shots rang out, she let Lamohr seek shelter inside her house.
Lamohr and Williams each face six charges including four of murder, one of attempted murder and the possession of an illegal firearm.
