One of the student leaders who spoke to Daily Voice on terms of anonymity said CPUT management increased fees without consulting SRC which is a statutory obligated mandate.
“They increased (fees) without involving all stakeholders, we are protesting against the lack of accommodation, NSFAS allowances and we want shuttles to be insourced.”
CPUT management said Thursday night’s activities took place despite management meeting with the SRC on Thursday and receive a list of demands.
