A cousin of suspected 28s gang boss, Ralph Stanfield, has been arrested along with her 17-year-old son after the teen allegedly abducted his girlfriend.
The duo were busted for kidnapping, assault and drug possession at their Woodlands home on Saturday night after neighbours called Metro Police to say the guy was holding his 19-year-old girlfriend captive in his bedroom at gunpoint.
Relatives have confirmed that the 36-year-old mother is the daughter of Ralph’s maternal aunt.

Metro Police spokesperson, Superintendent Ruth Solomons, says they received a complaint from the community that a girl had been kidnapped and was being held against her will.
Officers went to the house identified by the community and knocked on the door, which was opened by the mother.
“Metro Police received a complaint of a female being kept at a house against her will and is being threatened with a firearm,” she explains.
“The officers responded to the residents and found a female locked up in a bedroom inside the premises with her boyfriend.
“The officers managed to get the male to unlock the room door and found the 19-year-old female in the room and she reported that her boyfriend assaulted her.”
Officers searched the premises but did not find any firearms, however they did find a large amount of drugs, confirmed to be mandrax, of which the value was still being estimated.
SEIZED: Large amount of mandrax found on premises.
“Officers then searched the room and the premises. No firearm was found on the premises, but they found drugs and arrested a 36-year-old female for being in possession of drugs.
“The 17-year-old male was arrested for assault and kidnapping.
“Both male and female suspects were detained at Mitchells Plain SAPS,” Solomons said.
Solomons says the girl has been returned to her family.
