It’s been less than a week since she became the first woman to win The Voice SA and Tasché Burger says it still feels like she’s in a dream.
Tasché was crowned the winner of Season 3 on Sunday and the singer, who recently turned 19-years-old, says it was the best gift ever.
“This is such an amazing yet crazy feeling, I still can’t shake it off, the buzz is still so fresh and what a perfect moment following celebrating my birthday on the show,” she tells the Daily Voice.
The Brackenfell meisie, who will be based in Cape Town as she embarks on her musical career, says she prefers being at home and would rather travel to gigs.

The competition was held in Joburg and she says: “The most difficult part for me was being away from home for two months of this competition.
“I miss my home, I miss braaiing, my family and friends. But it was all worth it.”
Tasche received nearly 10 million votes from the public making her the outright winner.
She walked away with a brand-new Toyota RAV4, a Telkom tech bundle with a Huawei P30 Pro, Truworths clothing vouchers to the value of R100 000, and a recording contract with Universal Music South Africa.
She has also set the bar high for the next round of the competition: “I’m really honoured to have set the record for the first female and youngest to have won.
“I can’t thank South Africa enough for what they’ve done for me.
“I can’t wait to start recording my music. Although I’m a bit torn between different genres, my heart is with Afrikaans and Country music.”
For now, the bubbly blonde says she wants to return to her job as a waitress at Ocean Basket to “serve food just one last time”.
“I want to do one more shift, to end it off. But I’ll be doing music full time now.”
