Daniel James has an eye on the Europa League title, with Manchester United leading their last-32 tie against Real Sociedad 4-0.
James scored for the Red Devils in the win last week and followed that up with another strike in their 3-1 Premier League win over Newcastle at the weekend.
And the Welsh winger is hungry for more goals and going one better than their semifinal exit to Sevilla last season. He says: “You’ve seen this season we are so hungry to pick up silverware. This season we want to go that bit further.”
James has returned to form after a superb start to life at Old Trafford and seeing Marcus Rashford also enjoying his game again, coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says he just tries to help.
The boss says: “You try to help them. I feel privileged and lucky.
Players like Dan next to me, he is hungry and desperate to learn.”
