FC Kapstadt has relaunched their annual football festival as the Lucky Star Cup following a successful long term agreement with the Oceana Group's Lucky Star.
Now in its ninth year, this year's three-day event promises to be the biggest yet with Lucky Star introducing some exciting additions to the Cup, including a junior contingent from a leading Premier Soccer League club. These and more details will be revealed as the glamorous affair draws closer.

Dubbed a major win for local grassroots football, FC Kapstadt club president Zaid Omar says: “Having Lucky Star’s support will give us the impetus to become Africa’s first international grassroots football festival that will attract teams from across the globe. That is our ultimate goal”.
The four-day tournament will see spectators take to the Hartleyvale Stadium and Malta Park precincts in Observatory from 3 to 6 October 2019.
