A teenage skollie whose face was blasted off with a shotgun has left cops dumbstruck after he apparently “rose from the dead”.
According to a witness, officers from the Anti-Gang Unit (AGU) went looking for a corpse in Kensington on Thursday morning and got a moerse skrik when they found the 16-year-old’s “body” in a ditch.
To their astonishment, the laaitie, who had a gaping hole where his right eye and cheek should be, started to speak.
A video of the gruesome scene - showing the alleged member of the Wonder Kids gang telling detectives who shot him - surfaced on social media over the weekend.
In it, he claims that his killer is a man named “Swartz” from Kewtown.

The witness told the Daily Voice that on Thursday morning, cops raided a home in 18th Avenue (Kensington) following a tip-off about a stash of guns being hidden on the property.
“They found a shotgun and then they were told that someone had been shot with that gun the night before and the body was lying behind the army base (Wingfield),” says the source.
“They got there and saw the body and called the ambulance because they thought it was a code blue (fatality).
“Then out of nowhere, he sat up and rose from the dead like Lazarus in the Bible. Everyone got a moerse skrik.
“All you heard was: ‘ Oh f*k! Die ding lewe!”. Sy hele gevriet was weg geskiet maar hier sit hy dan nou op en praat.
“He said his name is Lorenzo and told the cops the person who shot him was from Kewtown, maar hy het gelieg.
“He was shot by his own brasse while they were smoking drugs. The one skollie was playing with the shotgun and it went off.
“They left him there the whole night. But even after they left him to die, he still protected the Wonder Kids gang.

“In hospital they said his right eye was shot out and his nose bone is broken.
“They wrapped his whole head and it looks like he will be blind for life because the shrapnel is still in his face.
“ Sy gevriet was weg geblaas with lead bolletjies, but his brain was unaffected.”
Police confirmed the recovery of the shotgun.
Police spokesperson, Captain FC van Wyk, said: “An attempted murder case was opened for investigation. The injured victim was transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment.
“Sterling investigations by detectives led to the arrest of a 19-year-old suspect and he is due to appear in the Cape Town Magistrates’ Court.”
