Kanye West's latest tekkie line sold out in less than a minute.
The Adidas Yeezy 450 in Cloud White debunked speculation it wouldn't sell as well as the rapper's previous lines. The release day saw fans clamouring for the unique tekkie.
When the shoe went on sale via the Adidas app and YeezySupply.com, fans fought for their place in the digital queue, with many losing out, writes Page Six.
A hopeful buyer tweeted: “Release @ 7am, sold out by 7:01am. #yeezy450."

Another added: “YEEZY 450 release was some BS. 15 minutes of 'you’re in the waiting room, don’t refresh' with the page refreshing itself until sold out.”

TMZ writes that the sneakers retail for $200 (R3000), but some mense are reselling theirs for more than double the initial price at $500 (R7600).
According to High Snobriety, Kanye began talking about the Yeezy 450 in 2018, sharing artwork of the unusual design. The entrepreneur has also been seen wearing the shoes in public.
