Liverpool have slapped a £35m price tag on Sadio Mane, who is reportedly ready to leave the club.
Speculation is rife that the 30-year-old Senegal ace is keen for a new challenge after six years of success at Anfield, with the 2022 Afcon winner strongly linked to Bayern Munich.
But according to The Athletic, the Reds aren’t willing to let him go on the cheap despite the forward’s current deal running out at the end of the next season.

Kop bosses also want to line up a top-level replacement for Mane before letting him go, with the club also paaping over new contracts for Mo Salah, who was named PFA Fans’ Player of the Year on Monday, and Roberto Firmino, having already said goodbye to Divock Origi.
Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele, Villarreal winger Arnaut Danjuma and West Ham yster Jarrod Bowen have all been named as Reds targets.
Despite missing out on Champions League glory after losing 1-0 to Real Madrid and being in a battle to keep his star men at the club, Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp still believe they have the best club in the world.
Parading their two domestic cup trophies in front of 500 000 mense in the streets of England on Sunday, Klopp said: “We won two competitions, great, but we didn’t win the last two – and these people [the fans] don’t forget, they know exactly what a shift the boys put in. This is the best club in the world – I don’t care what other people think!”
