About 1000 people stieked uit at the Spine Road High School hall on Friday night to see local talent in action.
It was an evening of celebration and nostalgia as famous brothers Loukmaan and Emo Adams came to perform in their home town of Mitchells Plain.
The show, called The Famous Brothers, was hosted by their father, Omar Adams, aka Boeta Maan, and the event also showcased other homegrown talents such as YoungstaCPT, Lyndle Kearns and F-Five.
Actor Christian Bennett was the MC and his female persona, Aunty Gabieba, also put in an appearance.

Mense went bos when YoungstaCPT lit the stage with his hit song Yasis.
Emo, who hosts Noot Vir Noot on television, thanked his dad for being the foundation of his success in entertainment.
“My dad is such an amazing man, he is the core of my achievements, the one who saw my talent and nurtured me and so many others. With Boeta Maan you go from watching TV to being on TV,” he said to loud applause.

Loukmaan arrived looking flustered as he had to rush to Mitchells Plain from his performance at the Baxter Theatre
“I’m so glad to be here, at my old school, my home town, the place I grew up in and am rooted in,” the award-winning actor says.

Loukmaan paid tribute to his mentors, the late Zayne Adam and Taliep Petersen, ending off his set with their hit songs, Queen of Hearts and Give A Little Love.
“It’s really a big deal when my sons can perform together,” Boeta Maan said proudly.
