CT Pride Mardi Gras party to shut down month-long jol
This weekend it’s all drag and fab as the Cape Town Pride Festival comes to an end on Saturday with the annual Cape Town Pride Parade and Mardi Gras at Green Point Park.
The Mardi Gras is the final event of the 2025 Pride month calendar and this year's event promises to be the biggest Pride event the City has ever seen, with visitors from the LGBTI+ communities from around the globe landing on the shores of the Cape.
Cape Town Pride once again comes together as the rainbow community of Africa celebrates the incredible diversity of our beautiful city and people.
This is about to be a Pride of note as top South African artists are set to perform on the main stage all day as well as a food market catering for the honey (food) and dora (drinks).
Keeping the patsy going all day, you can look forward to music by Good Hope FM’s DJ LV, DJ Kyeezi, Tollie Parton, Jimmy Nevis, 3 Tons of Fun, Jarrad Ricketts, Craig Lucas, Cece Vee, Laila van der Ross, Lynelle Kennedy and many more.
And if you are wondering how you are about to get to Pride on Saturday, good news is that if you live near a Golden Arrow bus route you can travel to the CBD for free and home again if you have a ticket to the Cape Town Pride Mardi Gras.
Show your ticket to the driver and get a free ride anytime from 8.30am to 8pm on existing bus routes.

The Phatt Jam is back by popular demand and it’s all going down at Dante’s Premiere Lounge this Saturday in celebration of DJ Rollstoel’s birthday bash loaded with the best live entertainment and Djs.With an all-star line-up of artists on hand bringing you a signature blend of 80s, 90s, 2000s R&B, Hip Hop, Amapiano and Old school that will keep you grooving.

The ding will ruk as 12 women’s teams compete for a a top-eight place to qualify for the third round.
