As we reported two weeks ago, Cape Town All Stars have indeed brought over Roger de Sa to be head coach for the upcoming Glad-Africa Championship season.
De Sa was part of the ownership of Cape United, who were sold and are now based in Limpopo and known as Venda Football Academy.
The new All Stars coach will keep Sinethemba Bhadela who was part of the previous coaching staff, but has brought with him Gareth Ncaca, who was an exciting midfielder in his playing days.
Cape Town Spurs have been busy testing their squad in friendlies against lower-division teams.
They will, however, up the ante from Friday with a game against Chippa United and have reached out to their top-flight neighbours Cape Town City for some games as well.
The fixtures for the new season have not been announced as yet, but with the Premiership kicking off in August, it’s anticipated their kick off will be around that time as well.
